The Lake District Poet William Woodsworth once wrote: "Scorn not the sonnet ..." with this key Shakespeare unlocked his heart. We all learned in high school that the sonnet entails only fourteen lines of poetry. But there are, of course many kinds of sonnets.
Ralph Pettie is a Maine native and a Parker Ridge resident since May 1993. Ralph is a retired public high school teacher for over 30 years in southern Connecticut.
